What do you do?

Go»
In short: we propose innovative ideas and approaches. This applies to the WEB, IT and UM areas. Without forgetting that only facts count (the projects actually accomplished), not words or intentions.

Who are you?

Go»
Domino is a company organised in three divisions:
  • DominoWeb, responsible for web projects
  • DominoIT, information technology and system integration
  • DominoUM, studies and creates unusual marketing (UM) projects, e.g., viral marketing, guerrilla marketing. We have devised an approach that we call Social Netmarketing

Do you participate in competitive bidding?

Go»
Yes, as long as the procedure is conducted according to professional criteria and principles of fairness.
Assocomunicazione has created an excellent document about how to engage in competitive bidding, which we deem very useful. In our experience we have often observed a lack of clarity, resulting in a useless waste of resources subtracted from other projects: we always work at the best of our ability when we submit a bid, and to this end we always demand of our customers maximum transparency. How can I select a web agency?

Go»
1 evaluate their job portfolio: if you find jobs that you like, this is a good sign, it means that the agency proposes interesting things and is able to work as a function of customer requirements. Be wary of jobs that are very similar: it shows that the agency is unable to calibrate its efforts in relation to the style and peculiar characteristics of the individual customer.

2 try to determine whether they have a working method: this will help you understand whether they are able to replicate a success and cope with difficult times, which, in actual practice and especially in complex projects, are bound to occur. Many agencies will produce a "good project": it is much harder to maintain high quality levels over time.

Reasons not to choose you?

We always try to propose original ideas.
Over the years we have realised that our approach cannot always meet the needs of the companies that contact us.
Especially if you:

  • seek the best price: we believe that a top quality creative job should be remunerated as such. In our field, "technology" is a significant variable which makes the job more complex compared to traditional media.
  • are convinced that your suppliers only pursue their own interests: to work well it takes confidence. We strongly believe in a "win-win" approach
  • are looking for a company that produces "web pages". As a rule, the productive part accounts for less than 30% of a project’s budget, ... without strategy and creativity, jobs will often be devoid of character and will not satisfy either the customer or the supplier.

What distinguishes you as a system integrator?

We do not sell technology a priori. We have different partners, but first of all we focus on the functions of the application to be developed.
Only at a later stage the choice between make or buy is made jointly with the customer.
In a few words:

  • flexibility in terms of technological choices;
  • attention to the constraints and opportunities afforded by the technologies already adopted by our customers;
  • appreciable skills in the design and dimensioning of hardware and software components.

How do I determine at what level you work?

Over the years we have received several awards, which, together with our portfolio, surely provide some reliable indications to judge from.

Can you manage the contents?

Surely. To many of our customers we supply copy, images and ad hoc contents, for example by contacting press offices, audio-video production agencies, specialist copy writers. We also produce and distribute newsletters and collect statistical data on readership.

Can I update the website on my own?

Definitely. We create projects where the customer can produce new pages or edit the existing ones by adding images and documents. The skills needed are similar to those necessary to write documents with Microsoft Word. We have also created an ad hoc product.
