When creating a web site it is very important to be able to manage the content simply and efficiently.
Most sites require constant updating due to both changing needs and information in order to make the project ‘alive’ in the eyes of the final user.
A user friendly solution
Contentino, the content management system proposed by Domino starts from these assumptions, creating an application capable of simplifying the management, growth and consolidation of the site, using user friendly interfaces that the user can use to generate their own site rapidly and efficiently.
The content of the information is divided into: basic support, text, images, objects.
These elements can be composed in any manner to generate pages for publication on the web. The layout of the final page is defined by the templates chosen. Different, ad hoc templates can be developed, with graphic design characteristics and positioning of the various elements and the presentation logic.
With regard to the back office components, the software can manage workflows and different types of user: contributors (internal / external, if necessary subdivided by information area) and validators (users qualified to publish the information on the web).
A fundamental characteristic of Contentino is the WYSIWYE (what you see is what you edit) editor:
- The content of the pages are edited directly on the final page with a browser-based approach, in order to make the final result clear and immediate.
- Blocks of information are defined (text, image, flash, text + image, etc) which the user can add/remove and move (drag and drop) in conformity with the layout of the template chosen.
